Anderson Energy Ltd. was established as a private company on January 30, 2002. The company became a publicly traded issuer in connection with its acquisition of Aquest Energy Ltd. on September 1, 2005 and commenced trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: AXL) on September 7, 2005.
